Parenting skills course
Adolescence is a time of intense change — for young people and their parents alike. New emotions emerge, the need for autonomy grows, conflicts arise and difficult conversations become more frequent. Many families experience tension and a sense of helplessness during this period.
Parenting skills training is a workshop programme for parents who want to better understand their growing children, develop communication skills and build a relationship based on trust and mutual respect.
Sessions are held in a workshop format within a small group of parents, allowing participants to share experiences and learn from real-life family situations.

Programme objectives
The aim of the training is to develop parenting skills in areas such as:
- building a sense of competence in the parenting role
- developing communication skills with the child
- understanding the child's emotions and needs
- identifying problematic situations and behaviours
- coping with challenging and aggressive behaviours
- setting boundaries and establishing rules within the family
- developing emotion management skills
- supporting the child's motivation
- resolving family conflicts
